Sudan's armed forces conducted their first drone strikes on an RSF convoy inside Chadian territory near Mourdi, prompting Chad to raise its alert status and move roughly 100 armoured vehicles to Tine. Ethiopian arms flights to the RSF rose from 2 in September 2025 to 44 in August 2026, and the RSF opened a renewed Blue Nile offensive taking Sirkum and Bakori. A belligerent now in confrontation with two land neighbours.
